Oxfordshire Barn Renovation

Cobus Swart designed, managed and led his team to build a masterful work of design and function that is the #oxfordbarnproject. For Cobus and his team, their three year love affair started with the site set up, and foundations to the timber build and finishing. It has been a labour of love, through a global pandemic, to create this 5 bedroom luxury barn conversion.

Our main design theme was to seamlessly combine the old with the new. We pushed ourselves to find ways that were both respectful of the barn’s aging beauty, but also functional and modern for the family. To accomplish this, we chose to combine the industrial element of exposed steel frames, and place our signature concrete polished floors and fixtures alongside the ancient woods. We strategically placed every available bit of original wood to create dramatic finishes that only wood can do.
